Heimir Hallgrimsson: Israel shouldn t play these matches! There s a lot of support for Palestine...

Ireland Head Coach Heimir Hallgrimsson continues to voice his opposition to Israel, which is committing genocide in Palestine. The veteran coach once again made striking remarks following the Ireland-Israel match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

'UEFA needs to do something!'

Hallgrimsson made the following remarks at the press conference held after the match: “Israel shouldn’t be playing these matches. There is tremendous support for Palestine in Ireland. There are probably not many countries that support Palestine as much as Ireland does. I wouldn’t want any national team to go through what we’ve been through these past two weeks. That’s why UEFA needs to step in and do something.”
